The Passing of Child

Our prayers continue to rise for the Laurie family on the death and promotion of their son Christopher who has gone on to heaven. God has used Pastor Greg in my life in a mighty way.

I saw this video…and God really spoke to me.  In those times of testing will we hold to God’s promises? May this video truly add fuel to our prayers as we lift up this family, and may this video provide a bit of encouragment through all the difficulties we face in life. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace.  In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” –  John 16:33

  1. So encouraging to see such a brother in Christ more persuaded then ever, That he is closer to Heaven. “Greg Laurie” said that the world has become less attractive to him. So determined to finish his task that he may rejoice in the presence of our savior, knowing that his son Christopher is waiting his arrival.
We all need to be inspired by such a godly man in the time of adversity. There are a lot of prodigal sons out there “I’m one” but the more the Lord pursued me at the time of my rebellion the more I was convinced..How much He Loved Me! I would have lost heart long ago unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
I love what brother Greg said “You don’t have to be afraid” it reminded me of Gods words to Joshua. “I will be with you,I will not leave you nor forsake you only be strong and very courageous”.
The Lord spoke these comforting words to the children of Israel through Moses his servant before his departure. (Deuteronomy
33:27) The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say,’Destroy!’
    “YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE
    AFRAID”
