Easter 2026

First of all, I hope everyone had a blessed and Happy Resurrection Day. May the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, fill your lives – every day.

Ever since I’ve been a Christian, Easter Sunday has always been filled and even flooded with inherent joy and power.

Now…having said that, death is still something we have to deal with on this side of time. As one person said, “We’re Easter people living in a Good Friday world.”

Friday was a why day, a cry day.

Saturday was a sadder day. Saturday hurts, Saturday grieves, Saturday struggles to understand…but don’t lose heart my Christian friend, eventually Saturday gives way to Sunday.

We who are believers know, that “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)

We know that every aspect of death will be swallowed by life (1 Corinthians 15:54).

We know John 14:19 – Jesus’ words, “Because I live, you will live also.” (speaking to His followers)

Yes, there will be a season of “separation”, but the day will come when all Christians will be completely reconciled with Christ, and our loved ones in Christ, in heaven. Just as sure as Jesus rose that first Easter Sunday, so we also will rise when our “day” comes.

Believe, and be blessed and encouraged.

Allow me to close with a couple of quotes that stood out to me this time around.

“Easter is a time when God turned the inevitability of death into the invincibility of Life.”

“The first bud of spring summons the other seeds to join Him in uprising.”

Love you!

Your brother in Christ,

Happy 4th of July!

From BillyGraham.org, “Although it is not a religious holiday like Christmas or Easter, July 4th is a time to reflect on God’s goodness to us as a nation. Molded into the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia (which proclaimed our independence) are these words from the Bible: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:10, KJV). Our legal system reflects our Judeo-Christian roots.

While we look with gratitude to the past on this July 4th, may we also look in faith to the future, and commit it and our lives to God and His will. The ancient words of the Psalmist are still true: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12).”
